If you want to charge your Samsung Galaxy S7 with an induction charger, then this may not work properly. It is usually the case that the smartphone briefly indicates that it is being loaded, but then the charging process is not continued.

The reason is usually the cable, the charger or the protective case. If the inductive charging does not work with your Samsung Galaxy S7, please try the following three tips:

Check the charger and the cable of the inductive charging station.

If the current of the charging station is too weak, no induction charge can occur. We recommend you therefore alternative a different charger. Use the original charger of the Samsung Galaxy S7 to try out. Check before, however, whether the charging station can withstand the charging current of the charger. Mostly, this measure helps to charge the Samsung Galaxy S7 wirelessly

Remove the protective case

If your Samsung Galaxy S7 is stored in a protective case or case, it may prevent the wireless charging. Take the protective cover off as a test to check whether the induction charging station correctly charges the smartphone.

Check an alternative induction charging station

If the two tips mentioned above have not helped, then the induction charging station may be defective. We recommend that you check with a friend, acquaintance or in the shop, if the cordless charging of the Samsung Galaxy S7 works with another station.

If this does not work, it may be that there is a defect in your Samsung Galaxy S7, but this is rarely the case. We hope that one of the facts above is the reason why your Samsung Galaxy S7 cannot be charged wirelessly.

T-Mobile may have for some time a power failure to complain, where it it no longer possible for smartphone and mobile phone users to log on to the mobile network. Thus no telephone calls could be led or accepted and also the mobile Internet could not be used.

Anyone who is affected by such a problem or will be affected in the future, we would like to give you a tip if no connection can be established. Often it helps if you switch the smartphone once in the airplane mode and deactivate it after about 30 seconds.

Strangely, this approach helps to log back into the mobile network faster. Background in this case was that the Telekom's servers did not recognize the SIM card profiles correctly. By activating and deactivating the aircraft mode, a new request was sent to the mobile network. By sending a request more often, the probability was greater that the sim card profile was recognized at some point.

As we said, we recommend you this tip for future events.

There is probably nothing worse than to lose the photos that are stored on the Samsung Galaxy S7 in an unfavorable accident. Inadvertently deleted albums, a defective memory card or even that the smartphone gets completely lost. In any case, important and personal images are gone.

This is, of course, a pity and therefore the app Google Photos gives the possibility to synchronize images automatically. This is a very useful way to secure all the images you have stored on the Samsung Galaxy S7 in the cloud.

Samsung Galaxy S7

If you have synced your pictures through Google Photos, then you will never be able to suddenly lose all images irretrievable. This is why we are now explaining exactly how to enable the syncing of photos and videos in Google Photos:

Open from the Home screen:

  • App Menu --> Google Photos

If you are in the app, you can see in the upper left corner "Find photos" a symbol with three bars. Tap this icon and then select "Preferences". Here you will find the "Backup and Synchronize" option right from the start. Toggle the option, and then activate the slider in "Backup and Sync".

You must now select an account for the backup. With a standard Google account, you have almost 15GB free to back up your pictures and videos. More storage space can be purchased for a small contribution per month.

If you have selected your account, you will also need to select folders that you want to save next to the camera folder (the camera folder is automatically saved).

We would leave the backup via the mobile network deactivated as very large traffic data could be generated. Lastly, you can select a method to backup your photos and videos. For example "Charging only".

Afterwards, your photos, which are stored on the Samsung Galaxy S7 are automatically saved by the Google Photos app. So if a photo is stored in the Google Drive cloud, this image is marked with a cloud. Images with a crossed cloud are not yet available in the cloud.

You now know how to comfortably protect your pictures and videos on the Samsung Galaxy S7. We recommend to use this feature, as only with that option your images are not lost, if your device get´s a defect.
