Disable Samsung Galaxy A6 Automatic App Updates - Solved

The Samsung Galaxy A6 can be used even better by installing additional apps. If you have installed additional apps on your smartphone, they will be updated automatically from time to time. And always when a newer version is available in Google Play Store.

If you do not want the apps on your Samsung Galaxy A6 to be automatically updated, please disable the following setting in the Google Play Store:

  • Do not allow automatic app updates

Disable automatic updating of installed apps on the Samsung Galaxy S8

  1. Open the Google Play Store
  2. On the Samsung Galaxy A6 Tap the icon with the three lines
  3. Select "Settings" in the sidebar that is now open, select "Automatic App Updates" in the "General" section, then select "Do not allow automatic App Updates" in the drop-down menu (scroll up in the menu)

From now on, the apps and applications installed via Google Play Store will no longer be updated automatically.

This means that you now have to keep them up to date on your own.
