The Samsung Galaxy S9 preinstalled an app called "Game Launcher". Game Launcher can organize the games you have installed on your smartphone and also save games in the cloud.
This means, for example, that you no longer have problems transferring scores between Galaxy devices. If you do not want to use this feature, you can deactivate the Game Launcher on the Samsung Galaxy S9. Uninstalling is not possible, because this app is integrated in the Android firmware.
This would only be possible with root rights, which we will not go into further here.
Switch off the Game Launcher function for the Samsung Galaxy S9
1. Open the App menu from the start screen and then the settings
2. Select "Advanced Functions" here and in the next submenu "Games" on
3. You will now see the function "Game Launcher" - Deactivate it by setting the slider to "Off" - done!
The Game Launcher is now inactive and should not disturb you anymore.
