Enable YouTube App Incognito Mode - Resolved

If you like to watch videos on your Android smartphone via YouTube, but don't necessarily want them to be saved in your history, then this was not possible until now. Every video you saw could be viewed through the YouTube history of your Google account.

If you don't want this in the future, an incognito mode is now available in the YouTube app under Android. This can be activated as follows:

Activate YouTube incognito mode

1. Open the YouTube app on your Android smartphone

2. Tap on your avatar in the upper right corner and select "Activate incognito mode" in the menu.

3. You can recognize an activated incognito mode by an icon with "hat and glasses" being displayed in the YouTube app

4. You can deactivate the incognito mode again by simply touching this icon once.

This will show you how to watch videos on YouTube without saving them in a history.
