The HTC U12 is offered by many mobile phone providers in combination with a mobile phone contract. If you have opted for such a contract, a mailbox is usually also integrated in it and automatically activated for the telephone number.
However, you may not want to use the mailbox on your HTC U12 at all.
Then, of course, you can also deactivate it. There are several ways to do this. The simplest one, however, is via GSM code. And this is exactly what we would like to show you here:
Switch off the answering machine on the HTC U12
- Open the telephone app
- Change here to the keypad with which you can normally enter telephone numbers
- Now enter this GSM network code: ##002#
- Press the green handset or "Call" to send the code and deactivate the mailbox.
Background information on the above GSNM code. If this code is sent to the mobile network, all call diversions stored for the telephone number are deactivated. Since the mailbox is also a call diversion, this is deactivated.
From our point of view, this is the simplest variant, as the GSM code is entered quickly.
