The HTC U12 Plus receives firmware updates for the Android system and the Launcher interface from time to time. Usually, such an update is automatically displayed to you as soon as it is released. However, it can happen that a longer delay occurs.

1. Activate an Internet connection on the HTC U12+, preferably the W-Lan
2. Open the settings and then navigate to:
- System --> Phone info --> Software updates
The HTC U12 Plus will now search for a newer software version on the HTC servers. If a newer version is available, you will be offered the update for download and installation.
All further steps are supported by a wizard on the HTC U12 Plus. We recommend that you make a backup of your data before updating. This way you are on the safe side when it comes to your data.
