With a widget on the Huawei P20 Lite you can customize the Home screen to your needs. For example, you can directly add information about the current weather or a specific contact.
To place a widget on the start screen of the Huawei P20 Lite, you must first return to it.
1. Now press and hold on a free space on the start screen - it will now shrink and show a menu at the bottom of the screen

3. In the alphabetical list, search for the widget you want to place.
