The Huawei P20 Pro cannot be charged inductively by default. The corresponding technology is not on board. However, you can still use the inductive charging technology with the help of a little trick.
How this trick works exactly is explained here:
We use a kind of adhesive pad, an induction pad, which is glued to the back of the Huawei P20 Pro and connected to the USB Type C connector.

The USB Type C port is occupied, not compatible with metal sleeves
