If you charge the Huawei P20 Pro with a charger, then it can happen that the power supply, which is plugged into the socket, gets very hot very quickly.
Especially the housing of the charger looks extremely hot and therefore unnatural when touched. If you want to prevent the charger from getting hot, please check the following parameters or the following requirements of your charger.
Only use original power supply for the Huawei P20 Pro
It is possible that power supplies from other manufacturers are incompatible and do not provide the required performance. This will result in the power supply unit becoming hot.
Only use original Samsung charger cable
It may also be the case that a charger cable is used, which is intended for lower currents and therefore should not be used for quick charging with the Huawei P20 Pro.
Again, it is best to use the original charging cable.
