On the Huawei P20 Pro you can see the pedometer on the lock screen at the bottom left above the time, which shows your current steps. This is a very nice feature, but you may want to disable it because you don't need the information on the lockscreen.
If this is the case, you can hide the pedometer on the lock screen as follows:
Step counter display on the lock screen - Tip
1. Start from the home screen and then open the preferences
2. Go to the "Security & Privacy" menu item
3. From there to "Screen lock and passwords"
4. Scroll down and you will see the "Show step counter" option - disable the option with the slider
Then the step counter will no longer be displayed on your Huawei P20 Pro lock screen. You have successfully hidden or deactivated it.
