If you want to install the VLC Media Player on a Huawei device, you will have problems with it at the moment.
For many Huawei devices the installation of the VLC Player via the Google Play Store has been blocked.
The reason was the restrictive power saving mode that is present on Huawei devices. This suppresses the audio output of the VLC player when it is running in the background (similar to Youtube).
This caused the VLC player software manufacturer to blacklist Huawei devices in the Google Play Store.
At the moment VLC is working with Huawei on a solution so that the app will be available again as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, it was not announced when the time was right.
