The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has no physical home button. This means that you must press the imaginary home button on the display to activate from the lock screen. Here you might want the Home button to be permanently displayed again.
Fortunately, you can activate it in the Android settings and we will tell you where exactly this option is activated:

- Start from the home screen and then open the App menu and the settings
- Now tap on "Device Security" and then on "Always On Display".
- Activate it now by means of the master controller
- Then set the setting for "Content to be displayed" to "Home Button only".
From now on, the Home button will always be shown on the display, regardless of whether the phone is in normal operation or in standby mode.
