Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Check IMEI number

Whenever you purchase a new Smartphone or Phablet, such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, you should make a note of the IMEI number.

In the event of a loss, you can use the IMEI to prove that it is your smartphone. But where is the IMEI on the Samsung Galaxy Note 9?

Luckily, there are several places to go here. Below we show you where to find the IMEI on your Samsung Galaxy Note 9:

The IMEI can be found very quickly via the Android settings of your smartphone. Navigate to it:

  • Settings --> Device information --> Status --> IMEI information

Open the phone app on note 9 and then the number field in it. Then enter the following code:

  • *#06*

This will now display the IMEI number in a pop-up

On the packaging of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 you will also find a large sticker on which the IMEI is noted on closer inspection.

You now know three different ways to see the IMEI serial number of your Samsung Galaxy Note 9. You should now note this number in order to be able to prove that it is your device in the event of a loss.

For this reason, we recommend that you always keep the packaging with the IMEI.
