If you have sorted your images and videos on the Samsung Galaxy S8 within the gallery into albums, then you may want to add new captured images directly to an existing album.
Our instructions will explain how this works within the gallery app of the Samsung Galaxy S8:
Gallery - Add photo
Open the gallery app on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and then open the album where the photo you want to move is stored. Now press and hold your finger on the image to mark it.
If the photo is marked with a check mark, select the three-point symbol in the upper right corner to open the menu. In this menu you will see two different options:
- Copy to album
- Move to album
For example, select "Move album". You can then select the album to which the photo should be moved within the gallery app.
If you want to move several pictures into an album at the same time, simply select several photos.
You now know how to move multiple pictures and videos to another album on the Samsung Galaxy S8 at the same time.
