You can activate the developer options within the Android operating system of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and thus access additional options within the Android system.
Often you activate these options for testing purposes, but then have no concrete use for them, unless you are working intensively as a programmer on new apps.
Maybe you want to hide or disable the developer options on the Samsung Galaxy S8 in the settings. If this is so, then you won't find a switch for it. Because this is so simple and simply not intended.
But with this little trick you can remove the developer options from the Android menu. And this is how it works:
1. Opens the App menu from the Home screen and then the Settings
2. Then navigates up: Apps
3. Now you see a list with all apps installed on your Samsung Galaxy S8. Scroll down in this list to "Settings"
4. Select the entry and then go to "Memory"
5. Now select the following buttons one after the other:
- Clear Cache
This will remove the developer options from the settings menu and if you want to use them again, you will have to reactivate them in the usual way.
Now you know the procedure to hide or deactivate the developer options, which have to be unlocked separately, from the Android settings menu.
