You can receive so-called CB messages on your Samsung Galaxy S9. These are messages that are sent by the mobile phone provider via local radio masts and usually contain information.
CB stands for Cell Broadcast. However, with some providers or in some countries this can be very annoying and that is why we explain to you here how you can switch off these CB messages.
Disable Cell Broadcast messages on the Samsung Galaxy S9
1. Opens the text messages app
2. By tapping on the icon with the three points
3. In the upper right corner, selecting "Settings" and then "More settings"
4. You will now see an option with "Broadcast Channels" - Disable this
This will disable the CB messages on the Samsung Galaxy S9 and should you no longer receive them automatically ;-)
