On your Samsung Galaxy S9 you will find the navigation bar with task manager, home button and back button at the bottom of the display. This bar appears on the display, but can be hidden within apps.
We would like to explain how to show and hide the navigation bar quickly. This requires a setting within the Android system.
Hide the navigation bar on the Samsung Galaxy S9
1. Start from the start screen and open the following menu: App menu -> Settings --> Display --> Navigation bar
2. At the very beginning of the page you will see the corresponding option. This is: "Show/Hide button"
3. Activate this option. When you now open an app, a small dot appears on the far left of your navigation bar.
Touch it twice in quick succession to hide the bar. This is no longer visible.
Display the navigation bar again - Fade in
To do this, move your finger upwards from the bottom edge of the display. Then quickly tap the dot twice in succession again to lock the bar. You now know how to quickly show and hide the navigation bar on the Samsung Galaxy S9.
Note: This only works within apps. The bar is always visible on the home screen and in the App menu and cannot be hidden.
