With your Apple Watch you can manually select a WLAN network from watchOS 5 and connect to it without an iPhone.
This is especially useful if, for example, you want to connect to a foreign network on holiday, but your iPhone is not at hand.
This wasn't possible before and that's why we've written a manual for you in which we show you how to manually select another foreign Wi-Fi network.
1. Press the Digital Crown of the Apple Watch and then open the clock settings.
2. Tap on the menu item "W-Lan".
3. You will see a list of different networks.
Tap on a network and you can establish the connection.
You now know how to connect manually to a foreign W-Lan with the Apple Watch.
