Copy Windows path of a file - Solved

Easiest method to copy the path of a file in Windows

Windows 10

1. First display the file on your screen

2. Hold down the Shift key and then right-click on the file

3. In the context menu you will now find "Copy as path" - select the entry

The file path is now copied to the clipboard and can then be pasted elsewhere.

The option "Copy as path" is only displayed in the context menu if you press the above mentioned Shift key simultaneously with the mouse click. If you don't do this, you don't see the option either.

You now know the easiest way to copy a file path in Windows.
