Create and rename iPhone folders – How it works

If you want to organize your iPhone, it makes sense to create and rename folders based on the default settings offered by iOS.

Here we have summarized a short manual that explains the creation and renaming of folders in detail.

Create folders with apps on your iPhone

If you want to create a new folder, simply hold one app until it moves, and then drag it to another.

A folder is created automatically.

Rename folders on iPhone and iPad

Tap and hold the folder you want to rename.

As soon as your app/folder wobbles, tap the folder again.

Tap the folder field at the top to rename it, and then tap Done.

Note: For iPhone X and later models, tap outside the folder, then tap Done.

You now know how to better organize your iPhone by creating a new folder and renaming it accordingly.
