Huawei Mate 20 Disable Mailbox - GSM Code

The Huawei Mate 20 is often purchased in combination with a new mobile phone contract. Thus a mailbox for the new phone number is usually also active.

Calls that are not answered by you are automatically forwarded to the mailbox.

However, if you do not want to use it, you can switch off the answering machine as follows. The best way to do this is to use a network code which removes all call forwarding and thus also to the mailbox. This network code must be entered as follows:

Deactivate Huawei Mate 20 answering machine - Instructions

1. Open the telephone app

2. On the Huawei Mate 20. Change to the keypad

3. Enter the following GSM network code: ##002#

4. Press the Call key (green handset) to send the network code.

The call forwarding to the mailbox has now been successfully removed and is no longer active on the Huawei Mate 20.

Your smartphone will ring until you accept the call or the caller hangs up again. You now know the easiest way to switch off the mailbox for your Huawei Mate 20.
