If you have saved a contact within the Contacts app on the Huawei P20 Pro, you may want to assign a contact picture to it. Because by means of a contact picture one can recognize substantially faster, which person it concerns. You can also assign funny contact pictures or use logos.
In the following instructions we will show you step by step how to store a contact picture on the Huawei P20 Pro.
Assigning a profile picture to a contact - Instructions
1. Starts from the Home screen and opens the Contacts app there
2. Touch the contact you want to assign a profile picture to
3. Now selects "Edit" in the menu box below
4. You can now tap on the profile picture icon.
5. Now select from the following options:
- Take a picture
- Choose from gallery
6. You can now select the image section for the profile photo - with the tick above you confirm the profile picture and then again to save the contact
Afterwards you will see the contact with a profile picture in the contacts list.
It is important to know that you cannot assign contact pictures to contacts stored on the Sim card!
