iPhone How to Adjust camera settings for 4K videos

4K has four times the resolution of Full HD and offers fantastic picture quality when you watch this resolution on your home TV.

If you want to take advantage of 4K video recording on your iPhone, you should make sure that you have the following settings for the camera app.

Adjust camera settings to record 4K video

1. Open iPhone settings.

2. Scroll down to "Camera" and select the item.

The following menu will appear:

  • Change Camera Resolution iPhone

3. Tap Record Video

4. Select one of the following options:

  • 4K at 24 fps
  • 4K at 30 fps
  • 4K at 60 fps.

Note: FPS stands for Frames per Second.

A higher value stands for smoother video playback. This means that 4K at 60 fps is the highest and most fluid video quality setting.

However, this requires almost 400 MB of memory per minute. If this is too much for you, then take the option 4K at 30 fps or at 24 fps.

If you want to record a large amount of 4K videos with your iPhone, we recommend you purchase a SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive for iPhone and iPad.

Now you know how to adjust the camera settings to record 4K videos.
