If you still like to send SMS messages with your OnePlus 6, then you want to know with certainty whether your message was also received by your contact on the smartphone.
Here you can download the so-called delivery report. This is automatically sent to you by the mobile network provider when the SMS returns the status "Successfully transmitted" by the recipient mobile network.
Note: A delivery report is not equivalent to a read confirmation! In our instructions we will show you how to activate the delivery report on the OnePlus 6 in the settings. Please navigate as follows in the settings:
1. From the Home screen, open the "Messages" app which can be used to send SMS messages
2. In the app, open the "Settings"
3. Activate the "Delivery reports" option
From now on, 6 delivery reports will be requested from the mobile phone provider for each message sent from your OnePlus 6.
This does not incur any additional costs, but is free of charge. Important note: No delivery report can be requested for an SMS message that has already been sent.
This setting only applies to SMS messages sent from this point on.
