If you have an Audi A 3, it may have an integrated alarm system that triggers an external alarm in the event of movement inside the vehicle or mechanical stress.
This alarm system must be deactivated under certain circumstances. Whether it's because you park in a duplex garage or because you want to leave a dog in the car while you're doing something.
So that the alarm system is not triggered here, it must of course be deactivated. This is how it works:
Audi A3 Switching off the alarm system - Procedure
When locking the car, press the close button on the remote control once.
You must then press the Close button again within two seconds. As a result, the alarm system is deactivated for this closing process.
The alarm system must therefore be deactivated each time using the method described.
