BMW's M models, such as the BMW M5, M3, M2, have plenty of power under the hood and also offer a grandiose function to let the car accelerate optimally. The talk is of the so-called Launch Control.
The Launch Control accelerates your vehicle optimally from 0 to 100 km/h. This is made possible by the correct initial speed and the subsequent combination of acceleration and traction.
Launch Control is activated in a BMW M5, M3, M2 using a special methodology. We would like to explain to you in detail how the process works:
Prepare Launch Control Start
First of all it is important that the vehicle is at operating temperature. This means that the oil in the engine should have about 90°C. If this condition is met, then take the following steps:
1. Deactivate the Dynamic Stability Control DSC.
2. Shift the sports automatic to sequential mode (M/S) with driving program 3 and put it into first gear.
3. Step on the brake.
4. Depress the accelerator pedal to the kickdown point, the engine speed will oscillate between 3,000 and 3,500 rpm - you will now see a flag in the instrument cluster.
Perform Launch Control - Achieve best acceleration values
Now release the brake, but keep your foot on the accelerator pedal. The BMW M5, M3, M2 will now accelerate optimally and you will hopefully reach the time from 0 to 100 km/h which is indicated in the technical data.
They know how to accelerate a BMW M5, M3, M2 optimally from zero to a hundred kilometers per hour.
