With the latest EMUI version, the Huawei P40 Pro has integrated two new camera functions that may be of interest to some people. These are the so-called "Golden Snap" and "Remove Passersby".
What these two functions are on the Huawei P40 Pro and how to activate them, we would like to explain and show you here:
Golden Snap on the Huawei P40 Pro
Definition:
The Golden Snap stands for a function in which a video is recorded before and after the photo for a short sequence. So it is possible to capture a moment optimally. Because you can take the "golden snap" from the photo series and save it afterwards.
This should make it possible to always get the best photo moment.
Remove Passersby
Definition
It happens very often that people walk into a photo that you do not want to see there. If this is the case, you can use the function "Remove Passersby" to have these people retouched out automatically.
Reflections in a window or glass are also eliminated so that they no longer disturb. But you should keep in mind that much of the actual photo is automatically processed by AI and you may notice these changes in the final image.
How is the Remove Passersby used?
You must first activate Moving Pictures. In the camera app, tap the small circle symbol in the upper left corner of the Live View Finder.
Afterwards you can activate the "Remove Passersby" effect in the Gallery App when you "Edit" the photo.
You now know how to activate the Golden Snap on the Huawei P40 Pro and thus use the "Remove Passersby" function.
