If you're looking for saved games or recorded video in GTA V, you'll probably want to know where it's stored on your hard drive.
For GTA 5 stores and videos we would like to tell you here where the storage location is.
Location of GTA V scores
This question can be answered very quickly. You will find the location for saving the games in the following subfolder of your computer:
- C:\Users\NickDocuments\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles
Storage location of GTA 5 videos
With the Rockstar Editor you can record individual game scenes from GTA 5 and later cut them together into a video edit. This makes it possible to create a wonderful video. However, if you prefer to edit the video with other video software, you will need the location of the videos you have recorded in GTA V.
Here you have to distinguish between "Finished" and "Rough cut" videos. There are different storage locations for both:
List of unprocessed records:
- C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Rockstar Games\ GTA V\Videos\clips
Directory of finished videos:
- C:\Users\%username%\Local\Rockstar Games\GTA V\videos\rendered\
The videos in these folders must first be converted to MP4 format so that they can be edited and viewed outside GTA 5. This can be done with the usual video tools.
