The Huawei P40 and P40 offer you two very simple ways to capture the screenshots. The key combination and the call waiting. Also the third method via the status bar shortcut is not much more kmplexer.
Take screenshot via key combination
To take a screenshot using a key combination, the following two keys must be pressed simultaneously for at least 2 seconds
- Power On/ Off Button
- Volume down button
If the key combination was used correctly, you will see the display flashing briefly. If the key combination didn't work, or you find it too hard to press it, just use the variant with your knuckles:

First activate the function via the Android settings by navigating to the following submenu of the smartphone:
1. Opens the Android settings
2. Navigates to "Intelligent Support
3. From there it goes on to "Motion control
4. Selects "Take Screenshot
5. Enabled "Smart Screenshot
To use the function, you now have to knock twice with your ankle on the display, like you would knock on a door. This will trigger the screenshot.

This method is also only slightly more complicated than the previous two.
Simply pull the status bar with two fingers from above into the display. Selects the Screenshot button. Voila, the screenshot is taken.
