Mi Band 5 and Band 4 cannot be connected to the app

If you want to connect Mi Band 5 or Band 4 to the smartphone and the "Mi Fit" app installed on it, you may only see "Connect..." or "Try again".

Therefore it is not possible to synchronize data collected by the bracelet with the Mi Fit app.

 

But fortunately there is a remedy.

Connect Mi Fit App with Mi Band 5 or Band 4 - Troubleshooting

To reconnect via Bluetooth, you simply have to restart Mi Band 5 or Band 4. This is done as follows via the settings of the bracelet:

On your smartphone, open the Mi Fit app and make sure Bluetooth is enabled. Now take the wristband to your hand:

1. activate the Mi Band 5 or Band 4

Scroll down to "More",

3. select "Settings

Touch "Reboot" to restart Mi Band 5 or Band 4.
