The Mi Band 5 and Band 4 use a Bluetooth connection to the smartphone to synchronize data. This Bluetooth connection is permanently activated so that the user can ask himself the question:
Is it possible to activate a flight mode on Mi Band 5 and Band 4?
The answer to this question is: No!
At the moment there is no option integrated in the firmware of Mi Band 5 and Band 4 to switch the band into an aircraft mode.
Whether such a function will be added in the near future via a firmware update remains questionable, but it may well be possible.
