The Mi Volume 5 and Volume 4 will get a new firmware update from time to time, which brings new languages or features. Also the stability of the bracelet is optimized.
To search for a new firmware update for Mi Volume 5 and Volume 4 and install it, please follow the instructions in our tutorial:

1. open the Mi Fit app on the connected smartphone
2. select "Profile" in the lower right corner
3. select your bracelet.
Scroll down until you see "Check for Updates" and select it.
If a newer firmware version than installed is available, it can now be downloaded and installed on Mi Band 5 or Band 4.
The update process usually takes between 2 and 5 minutes. Afterwards you can use the new functions of the updated firmware on Mi Band 5 and Band 4.
