Reset JBL Flip 5 to factory settings

 

If you have a JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker, you may have problems connecting to another device such as a smartphone or tablet. It is also possible that the speaker does not seem to turn on or does not play music.

 

If the description applies to your speaker, you must reset the speaker to factory defaults. To do this, you must perform the following individual steps on the JBL Flip 5:

Perform JBL Flip 5 Factory Reset

1. switch on the loudspeaker with the power key.

Now press and hold the following key combination for about 10 seconds:

  • Volume Lower
  • Play button

3. you will now hear a beep and the speaker will automatically turn off.

Now switch on the JBL speaker again - this completes the reset to factory settings.

The factory reset on a JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker is thus quickly and easily done in a few minutes. Connecting to another device via Bluetooth and playing the music should now be possible without any problems.
