The Samsung Galaxy S20 and S10 have a very useful feature on board: the "Intelligent Selfie Angle". What is it for and why is it useful to activate it.
The function recognizes how many people are in a selfie photo. If more than 2 people are detected, the camera automatically switches to the wide angle function of the front camera. This is very useful, because you don't have to do the change over the live display yourself.
In the following we will describe how to activate the Intelligent Selfie Angle on the Samsung Galaxy S20 and S10.
Enable automatic wide angle for selfies
1. Open the Camera app.
2. Select the gear icon in the Live Screen to open the settings.
3. Scroll down to "Intelligent Selfie Angle".
4. Activate the option.
This will now automatically switch to the Selfie wide angle function when you shoot a Selfie with more than 2 people.
Note: On the Samsung Galaxy S10 this feature is only available after updating to OneUI 2.1.
