1. turn off the Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact
2. press and hold the following keys:
- Power button
- Home button
- Volume louder
3. the restore mode opens.
4. use the volume keys to highlight "Wipe Cache Partition
5. confirm the process with the power key.
Afterwards the cache of the partition is deleted.
