Below we describe exactly where you can check whether this function was activated by mistake on your Huawei P20 Pro:

1. To do this, start from the Huawei P20 Pro's home screen and then open the settings.

4. In the section "Connection at screen lock" you can now see the following option:

You should now receive WhatsApp messages and emails about your mobile data again, even if the locking screen of the Huawei P20 Pro is active.

The Huawei P20 Pro can display various symbols and icons in the status bar. This also includes a symbol in the form of a key.

If this key symbol is displayed in the status bar of your smartphone, it means that the following function has been activated in the Android settings:

VPN connection

So if you see the key icon in the status bar, then you probably have a VPN connection running in the background. If you have activated it accidentally, you can simply deactivate it. Simply proceed as follows in the Android options:

3. Continue to "VPN"

4. Now deactivate the existing VPN connection or delete the VPN entry completely.

Now you know that on the Samsung Galaxy S9 you can't change the background in the news app anymore.

On your Huawei P20 Pro, all calls are recorded in a so-called call log. This means that a history is created in which the contact, the time, the date and the call duration are stored.

This is for incoming and outgoing calls and SMS. This is very useful because you can always see who you were talking to on the phone. But maybe you don't want that at all?

If you don't want a history to be created, then unfortunately we have to disappoint you. Because this function cannot be deactivated.

2. Wipe the keypad from top to bottom so that it disappears

3. You now see the "Delete" option in the pop-up menu - select it

4. You can now select one or more entries or "All" to empty the entire call history

5. Tap on "Delete" at the bottom of the menu box to remove the call log

You have just deleted the call list on the Huawei P20 Pro. This means that it is no longer possible to trace with whom you have made calls or chatted via SMS.

Whenever you view photos on the Huawei P20 Pro, it can happen that in full view the images are always rotated automatically.

This can be useful, but it also means that you always have to rotate the phone yourself.

If you don't want to do this, you can deactivate the "Always rotate in full view" function. How this works in detail is explained here:

1. Open the gallery App on the Huawei P20 Pro

2. Then navigate to "More" at the bottom of the menu box and continue to navigate to "Settings"

3. Now tap on "Photo Orientation" and select "System" instead of "Always"

If you now view pictures in full view on the Huawei P20 Pro, they will no longer be rotated automatically.

Sometimes it may be necessary to change the standard NFC method on the Samsung Galaxy S8. This is usually necessary if the desired NFC function, such as payment or NFC tag does not work correctly.
