WhatsApp has recently launched a new function that give you the ability to proofe when a message has been read by the recipient. This can be seen at the double blue tick. Who likes this function, will like this new WhatsApp feature. Because now you can also see in WhatsApp, at which time the WhatsApp message has been read. This is possible through a time stamp.

This clears background data and app cache, but personal data is not deleted. In most cases, the Wipe cache partition on the Nexus 5 is needed, after the new Android Lollipop 5.0 has  been installed.

Switch off the Nexus 5 smartphone completely. Turn it on again and if you can see the Google logo press and hold the volume Volume Down button until the phone vibrates. A small menu will appear. Navigate with the volume buttons on the Nexus 5 at "Recovery Menu" and then press once the power button to confirm.

Who already received an update of the new Android Lollipop  5.0 operating system on his smartphone, perhaps wonders where the default android gallery app can be found.

To make it short: In Android Lollipop 5.0 there is no own Android Gallery app available. Instead of this app Google offers only the app "Photos" on. This is unfortunately not nearly as practicable, as the familiar Android Gallery app.



That's why we recommend you the app "QuickPic" from the Google Play Store, which can be downloaded for free. This very good gallery application for Android smartphones offers the already known functions and moreover some other nice gimmicks. QuickPic can be downloaded for free here.

Whether a gallery app will be available again in other Android Lollipop versions is debatable. But we hope that the app "Photos" is further improved.

First download the free File Explorer "Es File Explorer" on the Google Play Store.

This File Explorer makes all folders and files visible. Also folder with "Nomedia files". After downloading the ES Explorer open it on your Android smartphone. If you know the path of the folder, then you can open it now as usual. Should you not know where the folder is saved, then you can also use the search function at the bottom of the screen.

You now know a very convenient solution to find hidden files and folders on an Android smartphones.
